Ive had a lot of nice people I wanted to thank.. and what better way to say "thank you" than a pan of warm cinnamon rolls?

Banks getting used to the sand so when we go to Grandma and Grandpa Maruji's at the end of the month we're all accustomed!..

Banks picked this beauty from the garden.  My garden is doing awesome!  I've gotten lots of cucumbers, zuchinnis, and squash so far (and peas, but they're done now).

Jeff stretching.  Getting ready for his dress rehersal "mock" triathalon. Jeff races this Saturday his tri.  Yay for him!  Good luck!

Finger painting.  Just getting warmed up.  ha ha ha.

.........Add some play dough in the mix...and we got ourselves a HAPPY HAPPY Banksy!

Banks at the splash pad.  Its been in the 90's....best way to beat the heat.

Remember Rowen?  She was back visiting over the 4th of July.   We went to the BYU soccer game with them.  So fun!  Pretty sure she's just as beautiful as ever!

At the BYU soccer game.  (someone needs a haircut)

Banks loves his lil pool grandpa Maruji got him. Sidenote: Its really difficult getting Banks to look at the camera, so we say, "bird!" (Because thats his FAVORITE!) In this picture he is pointing and saying bird!

Boating with friends.

Have you seen these new life vests?  Theyre awesome!!  Ask me about them if you need/want more info.

I decided to throw Banks a lil birthday (belated) beach party.  This was one of his presents he got from his friends pictured.

(carrot cake...and not just ANY carrot cake..my momma's delicious carrot cake)

I tried to keep his party really simple.  I have a hard time doing "simple" when it comes to parties!  (aaahhhh I just love them soo much I want to go ALL OUT!) Anyways, I did it!  I threw a SIMPLE birthday beach party.  I served Lemon (Pudding) Bundt Cake, Chocolate Cake, Carrot Cake, Fruit Cups, and "Dirt Cups".
Have you ever had Alicia Maruji's Asain nachos?  This is her recipe..they're super yummy!  Let me know if you want the recipe..OR just want to come eat some!   Hope ya'll had a safe, and fun 4th of July.  I'll do another quick post after Jeff's triathalon this weekend.

We DID IT!  Jeff and I completed our first full marathon.  Wow, it was kinda a beast!  We had a great time doing it, but were MORE THAN elated to pass through that finish line.  I finished in 3 hours and 48 minutes.  We were blessed with great temperatures, but a nasty head wind for about 1/3 of the race.  If you want to hear more details, Jeff and I would love to chat your ear off about it!!  :)

My first zuchinni!  So exciting!  My garden is doing awesome.  I have a lot planted this year.

Happy happy birthday to our sweet lil Banks!  He turned the big 2 while we were gone to Costa Rica.  This is Banks water table grandma Maruji got him from Costco.  We could spend hours playing on it!  Thanks Grandma!

My handsome boys
We just got home from a seven day adventure in Costa Rica.  It was a great place to recoop from the Utah Valley Marathon.  Thanks to Brent and Alicia for taking care of our sweet lil Banks while we were gone.

U

Adventure 1:  Zip Lining through the Jungle.  (Super fun!  But I'm not gonna lie, I was a lil nervous.)  These are my friends we went to Costa Rica with, Shea and Sheri.

Jeff, Cameron and Brian.  Lets just say the boys really got their money's worth when it came to the scooters.

Picture of part of one of the pools at the house we stayed at.

Our beautiful view...the eternity pool on the top level of the house.

The pool on the bottom level.  Our room was just down to the left.  We had a beautiful room with a kitchenette (and a bathroom of course).

Does it look like we're risking our life for this picture!?  haha, no worries...we werent.

I conquered/completed two big accomplishments in the last two weeks.  1.  A marathon 2.  Zip Lining (thats a lil out of my comfort zone)

Being silly while ziplining

This was some of the scenery from the zipline adventure.  We got to see lots of monkeys...that was cool!  (On a different excursion) we got to see a crocodile up close!!  Sorry I dont have those pics available at the moment..

Oh how this kiddo loves the water!
Costa Rica from the front of our house.

Jeff just got home from a run and was cooling down.  I happened to capture this sweet lil moment.   Until next time friends and family, takre care!  Love you all!
